Lily Arkwright to support Unicef on Black Friday

Lily Arkwright has announced it has pledged to donate a portion of every sale to Unicef this Black Friday, as the cost of living crisis is “looming” over the world’s economy.

The jeweller will donate £50 from every sale to Unicef, save the children campaign. Lily Arkwright has teamed up with Unicef for the last four years, having initially supported them during their 2019 annual London halloween ball charity.

As a children’s charity, Unicef works with families, communities and governments in over 190 countries to tackle the root causes, as well as the symptoms, of problems directly affecting children. Unicef works to deliver long-term aid that creates lasting change for children as well as addressing children’s immediate needs.

Philip Dawson, Lily Arkwright managing director, said: “Black Friday is a tremendously exciting time of the year for consumers with many businesses offering deep discounting on products. Whilst exciting we’re also conscious it can be a rather stressful time, one in which consumers feel the need to grab a bargain at any costs.”

Lily Arkwright specialises in lab grown ethical and sustainable jewellery, including moissanite, lab diamonds and coloured precious gemstones. The retailer is Assay Assured and members of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).
