House of Meraki unveils Gemfields collaboration

The House of Meraki has launched a new collaboration with Gemfields to launch the J’aime collection, comprising a curated selection of responsibly sourced emeralds from Gemfields’ Kagem mine in Zambia.

The J’aime collection features earrings, from dainty studs to hoops, as well as rings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants, which pair emeralds with 18k yellow gold, and occasionally diamonds and pearls.

The pieces come in round, emerald and pear cut shapes, and Gemfields said the collection has a European aesthetic and were designed to be worn anywhere from the ballroom to the boardroom.

Gargi Rathi, House of Meraki’s founder, said she has managed to recreate the mine-to-market authenticity of emeralds, and that she places due diligence on her supply chain, working only with responsibly sourced gems, which are strictly vetted and certified before being cut and polished at the in-house lapidary in Jaipur, India.

The J’aime collection is now available on both Farfetch and Net-a-Porter, as well as on the House of Meraki’s own online platform.
