Laings appoints general manager for new Glasgow flagship

Laings has announced the appointment of Graham Bruce as the general manager of its new flagship showroom in Glasgow.

As part of his new role Bruce will be tasked with preparing Laings’ team for the grand opening of its new Rowan House showroom on Glasgow’s prestigious ‘style mile’ in 2023.

Bruce joins the firm from Fraser Hart and brings 13 years of industry knowledge about customer experiences. The move marks a return to his hometown of Glasgow, where he began his career in the renowned Argyll Arcade.

The redevelopment of Rowan House is part of a wider £10m investment by Laings to expand its showrooms throughout the UK, including Edinburgh, Cardiff and Southampton.

A wider recruitment programme to appoint specialists into various roles, including watchmakers, will take place in the new year.
